President's Park

Almaty, Kazakhstan

The President's Park complex is distinguished by its particularly careful consideration for both the external landscape and the meticulous design of the complex's spatial composition. It represents a modern residential quarter with features reminiscent of country palace estates.

The complex's architecture is created with modern technological capabilities and contemporary materials. Profiled cornices, parapets, accented entrance groups, a combination of different cladding material textures on the walls that mimic wood, travertine, bronze, clinker brick, stained glass with a "champagne splash" decor, and an aluminum facade system—all are part of an interpretation of Art Nouveau aesthetics. A rich interplay of nuances is built upon the rhythms of horizontal and vertical divisions of the forms.
